Intended Audience

This API reference is intended for software engineers or application developers who need to understand the client interface of the Spectra S3 RESTful protocol and who want to transfer data to and from the Spectra® BlackPearl® Deep Storage Gateway. The reference assumes a working knowledge of using a standard programming language such as C# (.NET), Java®, or Python®, as well as an understanding of XML, HTTP, and the Amazon S3™ (Simple Storage Service).
